Scrambling Courses

Course duration : 1 Day
Course Ratio : 1:4
Cost : £60 per person

This course is for the hill walker looking to venture into more serious terrain where ropes are not required but a good range of techniques and judgments are. Scrambling opens up a whole new world where getting to the summit will feel a lot more adventurous and give an extra special feeling to the day. We will look at some of the classic ridges of Snowdonia and dependant on the group may include Crib Goch or Tryfan. Group sizes are kept small so I can focus on the many aspects and also give more personal instruction and guidance through the day.

Alex - Scrambling Course  2017
"Heard about Matt through a friend and contacted him about wanting to climb Tryfan. Matt’s instruction was great and he made the day feel very relaxed, taking time to show me technique when it was needed. It was a great day and I am really happy I can now tick off Tryfan from my to do list."

Mair - Clasic Ridges Day. "Great day on Moel Siabod, weather was kinder than anticipated. A great route enabling walking and scrambling options, Matt knew when to extend the comfort zone!! We had a great laugh and while we were kept informed of route throughout was a pleasure to relax and focus on skills other than navigation for the day! Cheers Matt"
Sarah- Moel Siabod - 2016
"Thanks Matt for top day out in the mountains even if the weather didn’t play ball. The ridge pushed my nerves just enough and your patient, friendly approach was appreciated."
